The social distance imposed by the pandemic made the tourism sector bet on isolation as a trend. Remote destinations, where distance becomes a choice and not a sacrifice, are gaining more followers of the so-called isolation tourism.
Even with the advance of vaccination and the reopening of many destinations, many still prefer to travel to more exclusive places, renting houses or accommodation far from each other, with an infrastructure that allows to combine work and leisure, preferably in the midst of nature.
“The tendency is for people to increasingly seek out places in nature, sea or mountains, where they have privacy, while at the same time they can count on the service of a team trained to look after the visitors”, says Félix Jorge, manager of relationship between Villa and Loft Bom Jardim, accommodation by the sea in Paraty Bay (RJ).
Refuge by the sea

Nature of Paraty
“We noticed that guests like to know that they are not totally alone, that there is a staff ready to assist them”, says Félix, who also manages the guest experience at Pousada do Sandi, owned by the same owners, in Paraty.
In the surroundings, in addition to the beach, there are palm trees, an orchard, an organic vegetable garden with spices and a botanical garden with more than 5,000 trees of jussara palm, lychee and passion fruit.
A second trail leads to Forte da Tapera, also inside the property, with three cannons from the Colonial Brazil period pointed towards the sea. This fort precisely protected against the invasion of Dutch and English pirates.
From the top, the site offers a privileged panorama of the bay of Paraty.
The two spaces, Villa and Loft, recently gained suites with dressing room, large bathrooms, new trousseau and air conditioning in all environments.
The lease includes the staff (cook, maid, caretaker and sailor). The infrastructure offers a gym, steam room, equipment for water activities and two boats for rent. In town, there is a support marina and parking for cars.
