DAY 1 | Thursday WELCOME TO THE AMAZON

Depart from the pier in Manaus to board the M/V Desafio at 14:00h, your floating hotel for the next three nights. Once on board, the multilingual naturalist guide will host a “welcome to the Amazon” briefing highlighting the broad spectrum of life in this unique region. The guide will assist in the identification of the flora/fauna, provide a historical framework and enrich your ecological understanding of this unusual destination and of the natural world. Start sailing bound "Tres Bocas", located in the archipelago of Anavilhanas, the largest river archipelago in the world, with its lakes, islands, creeks and flooded forests. Dinner on board. In the evening, guests will enjoy a pleasant walk in motorized canoes for local recognition, an opportunity to hear the sounds of the jungle.

DAY 2 | Friday THE ANAVILHANAS ISLANDS

At 05:30h, boat ride to admire the sunrise in the forest and the birds singing in their diversity. Return to the ship and breakfast. In motorized canoes, walk along the river to a site trails for a walk with purpose to observe the flora and fauna of the region. Return to the ship. Lunch on board while cruising towards the indigenous community "Terra Preta", whose visit is an opportunity to meet the lifestyle and habits of the Indigenous. Return on board and navigation towards Jaraqui' village. By motorized canoes, after a pleasant river expedition, stop in land for an interesting jungle trekking to explore the fauna and flora. Return on board. Dinner on board.

DAY 3 | Saturday MEETING OF THE WATERS

Breakfast on board and sail to a local village named 'Acajatuba'. On the way, stop at the floating station 'Recanto dos Botos' to interact with the pink dolphins, and feed the famous fish 'Pirarucu', known as the cod of the Amazon. Lunch on board. Departure and navigate along the Negro River towards the borders of the Solimões until reach the “meeting of waters”, where the Negro and Solimoes rivers meet to form the great Amazon River. The cruise continues to 'Janauari' Lake for another exciting experience, fishing the piranha, the dreaded Amazonian fish. Dinner on board. After dinner, canoe ride along the streams in search of caimans and other nocturnal animals with flashlights. Return aboard. Overnight.

DAY 4 | Sunday EXPLORING THE RIVER

After another tropical breakfast, departure to see the giants and beautiful Amazonian water lilies, another opportunity to explore the Negro River. Return aboard starting the return trip to Manaus arriving at 11:00h in the city.

DAY 1 | SUNDAY EXPLORING THE RIVER

After quicky stop in Manaus, lunch will be served on board while navigating straight down the Negro River, through the waters of the Amazonas River, to continue the expedition towards the Kings Lake, located in the city of Varzea Careiro of the Amazon, a place which economy is based on artisanal fishing activity and agriculture, surrounded by an indescribable nature. Arrival to Kings Lake, dinner will be served. After dinner, departure for a reconnaissance motorized canoe ride to explore the region at night in search for alligators of the specie jacaré-açu and other nocturnal animals with flashlights. DAY 2 | MONDAY DISCOVERING THE LAKE

Breakfast on board and departure to visit the Kings Lake local community with its unique culture,u the multiple species of birds of the region, and also for an exciting piranha fishing, the dreaded Amazonian fish. Lunch will be served on board while navigating to another side of the lake. Dinner served on board. After dinner, excursion by canoe to explore the lake looking for nocturnal animals. DAY 3 | TUESDAY UNFORGETTABLE SUNRISE

Early morning, boat ride to admire the sunrise and the birds’ awakening. Return on board for breakfast while navigating back to Manaus arriving at 11am. (Meal: breakfast).

DAY 1 GRUTAS DE MADADÁ

Transfer to the Waimiri Atroari Program for a brief presentation on the history of the indigenous people and then continue to the to the shore of the MV DESAFIO, departures at 10am, once on board our guide will provide information about the boat and details of the visits We will start navigation towards MADADÁ, and after dinner, we will do a night tour in motorized canoes, to appreciate the jungle at night. DAY 2 GRUTAS DE MADADÁ / SANTO ELIAS DO JAU

Disembarkation. A walk to the GRUTAS DE MADADÁ, a rock formation of large blocks of sandstone, we can appreciate lush vegetation, waters of varied tones, and get to know the diverse caves that form this place. In this area, we will take a walk in a primary forest and we will visit what now is a ghost town of Airão, these are the remains of what was the First Portuguese village to banks of the Negro River, founded in 1694 by Portuguese missionaries named SANTO ELIAS DO JAÚ. This small village was one of the largest centers of the latex production of the region. When this cycle ended, the local population moved to a new locality that today it is called "AIRÃO VELHO". During the visit, we can observe part of the ruins of the old village and listen to the history of giant red ants and other stories that the former residents used to tell. Return to our ship. DAY 3 SANTO ELIAS DO JAÚ / RIO UNINÍ

Sailing towards the river mouth of the UNINI River inside of the National Park of JAÚ, we will disembark, to be able to know a little bit of this forest, finding big trees like (Samaúma – ceiba pentandra). Then we will sail in motorized canoes down the river, observing birds and aquatic mammals. Great possibility of get into a community of local caboclos to know their habits and customs. ( B - L - D )

DAY 4 UNINI RIVER / KINJA / ANAVILHANAS

Today our navigation will be throughout the KINJA territory called nowadays WAIMIRI-ATROARI. This indigenous tribes area that were heavily massacred on the past, today they live protected in an area where white man cannot enter. There are countless stories that locals tell about these fierce warriors, which do not accept the interference of other villages. We will sail to the archipelago of ANAVILHANAS. ( B - L - D )

DAY 5 ANAVILHANAS / FURO DO MEIO

Breakfast. In this area of ANAVILHANAS, we can have the opportunity to see the dolphins, which in some opportunities our ship follows. We will continue the navigation to the village of the TATUIO Indians, to learn a little about the culture of that tribe. In the great Oca (Indian house), we will be offered with dances and guests to participate in them, a small talk about the habits and customs of this village. ( B - L - D )

DAY 6 FURO DO MEIO / MANAUS

We will start the navigation with destination to check the meeting of Solimoes and Negro waters forming the Amazon River. Arrival at the city of Manaus around 11 am. Disembark and transfer to the airport for boarding in OUR NEXT DESTINATION. (B)
